RU celebrates 78 years of excellence, inaugurates Human Science Auditorium

The University of Rajasthan celebrated its 78th Foundation Day on Monday with a program organised at the university premises. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Governor, and Chancellor of the University, Kalraj Mishra.
As part of the Foundation Day celebration, the Chancellor inaugurated the newly renovated Human Science Auditorium, constructed for 4.5 crores. During the ceremony, the Governor read the preamble of the constitution and emphasized the significance of original duties. Governor Kalraj Mishra highlighted the university’s role as the starting point for the seeds of knowledge, where the younger generation nurtures dreams for the future. He stressed the need for continuous efforts in the nectar period leading up to the completion of a hundred years of independence, focusing on the rapid elimination of economic, social, educational, and gender inequalities.
The Governor underscored the importance of universities developing courses related to skill development and technology, instilling confidence in the youth, and familiarising them with humanitarian ideals and nation-building tasks. Reflecting on the rich history of Rajasthan University, he expressed that education equips students with the ability to face future challenges.
Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa emphasized the role of higher education in making the youth capable of tackling future challenges. He assured effective efforts to fill vacant positions in the university. MP Ramcharan Bohra and MLA Kalicharan Saraf also highlighted the need for collaborative efforts to establish Rajasthan as a leader in the field of education.
