The three-day Rashtriya Seva Sangam has been organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for the third time in the country and for the first time, started in Jaipur in Rajasthan.

“Those who fought for freedom were declared criminals,” RSS chief said. He again said that they are roaming here and there. Saints are working better than missionaries.

On the inauguration of Sangam , RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said, “Missionaries are serving people by opening schools, hospitals and by providing other services. But when we wandered, we came to know that saints are doing better than the work performed by missionaries.”

He further added in his speech that the volunteers have been doing service since the inception of the Sangh. He said, “We all want to serve but we have to be conscious. Everyone has the mentality of service, it just has to be awakened. We are trying to make the society healthy today itself through service. Before that we have to be healthy.”

In furtherance he added, “If someone is behind in our society then it is not a good thing for us. The society can move forward only by considering everyone as equal and like oneself. We should give strength to the weak.”

He said, “There are many nomadic people in our society who fought for the freedom of the country. He did not bow down, kept fighting for freedom. They still keep roaming somewhere. They don’t have any voter ID, ration card. Foreign rulers declared them criminals. When the Sangh caught sight of him, he started serving there as well.”

Representatives of more than 3,000 voluntary organizations from across the country are present in Sangam along with Sangh’s co-ordinator Dattatreya Hosabale. At the same time, before this Seva Sangam which lasted for 3 days, an exhibition of work related to Seva Sangam was also inaugurated on Thursday.

People from different business groups including businessmen Ajay Piramal, Subhash Chandra have also reached in this confluence.

Piramal said in the inaugural session,”Today is a special day for me because I am in the midst of all of you. Swayamsevaks have selflessly laid down their lives for the country. RSS workers had done a great job during Corona.”

Piramal said, “I had gone to meet President Draupadi Murmu. She told me that she is 62 years old. Still she is the oldest woman in her area. Because the average age of tribals is 12 years less than the common people. Listening this, I felt sad. After that work has been started by Piramal Foundation for health services of tribals at 100 places across the country so that they also can avail the facilities like other common people.”

During this, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, BJP State President CP Joshi, MP Ramcharan Bohra, Sukhbir Singh Jaunpuria, Diya Kumari, Ghanshyam Tiwari, former State President Satish Poonia, Arun Chaturvedi were also present.
