The Kanjhawala hit-and-run case, in which a 20-year-old woman was killed after being dragged under a car in the wee hours of January 1, was finally resolved by the Delhi Police on Saturday. Seven defendants were named in an 800-page chargesheet that was submitted in response to the investigation. The matter is scheduled for April 13 for consideration of the final report by Metropolitan Magistrate Sanya Dalal. 117 people have been called as witnesses by the police.

On January 2, the police detained Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishan, Mithun, and Manoj Mittal in connection with the crime.
