In Haryana, roadways employees staged a chakka jam (road blockade) on Wednesday, causing buses to halt and inconveniencing passengers. This protest comes after the murder of Haryana Roadways employee Rajveer in the Ambala bus stand, prompting all employees to participate in the chakka jam. The joint front of roadways called for a suspension of bus services on Wednesday to support Rajveer’s family in seeking justice. However, this chakka jam by roadways caused significant inconvenience to passengers. Buses from Jhajjar depot operate daily for five routes, including Chandigarh, Gurugram, Delhi, and Faridabad. On Wednesday morning, when passengers reached the bus stand, they faced considerable difficulties due to the roadway’s chakka jam.
