Revving up opportunities: Dushyant Chautala drives youth employment agenda

Haryana’s Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala, has announced a significant decision regarding the Maruti plant being developed in the IMT Kharkhoda. He emphasized that priority will be given to providing employment to the state’s youth, and there is no need for a separate law for this purpose.
Speaking at a public meeting in Ramapur village in the Kharkhoda constituency on Thursday, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala addressed the crowd. Before this, he had addressed gatherings in Kakroi and Jharonth villages.
During the well-attended public meetings, Deputy Chief Minister Chautala made it clear that provisions have been made to provide employment for the state’s youth in the industrial units being developed on plots of HSIIDC (Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation). He stressed that there is no need for a separate law for this purpose.
He further explained that around 75 percent of the industrial units and companies in the private sector in the state have a reservation law for Haryana’s youth.
However, this law is currently under consideration in the Supreme Court. Still, it will not be applicable to the Maruti plant as it falls outside the purview of this law. Dushyant Chautala mentioned that Maruti has demanded an additional 500 acres of land to expand its operations. This expansion would allow them to manufacture electric vehicles at the Kharkhoda plant. He assured that the demand for ITI (Industrial Training Institute) seats in Kharkhoda would also be met by Maruti through CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives. Regarding the ongoing developmental activities in Kharkhoda, Deputy Chief Minister Chautala highlighted the rapid progress in the development path of Kharkhoda. He noted that the development work for the Kakroi-Sonipat road, estimated at a cost of 44 crores, is already underway.
