After a long time the scene played
It felt like a deja vu, it is not
As I stood ‘ther’ mesmerised
A girl was balancing on the rope
As a child, it was fun to watch
Today it was not, it was perspective
I wish I could write about balance
A usual ten to six employee
Life revolving around the clock
Back home just to start all over
‘Ther’ is always a lingering thought
An explanation I owe myself
I am torn between, the me now, the me then
Struggling to reconnect with the former
Wish I was good at mathematics
To know, the real value is power
And greatness has a ratio
Substracting time, years and tears
In an attempt to find that simple balance
I wish I could be that little girl
Finding myself on the rope of life
I am just a simple number
‘Ther’ it is, I tell myself
Through the pain I endure
