Leader of the opposition in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Rajendra Rathore, while responding to the statement of former Union Minister and MP P. Chidambaram, said, “Chidambaram is talking about the rights of tribals, Dalits, minorities, and women, but he is unaware that in Rajasthan, during the tenure of the Congress government, the highest number of cases of Dalit atrocities have come to light.” He said that accusing ED, Income Tax, and CBI has become a habit of Congress leaders, although they know that these agencies do not take action against anyone without investigation and evidence. He asked, “Why are these Congress leaders so afraid of these investigating agencies?”
Rathore, said, “P. Chidambaram addressed a press conference in Jaipur and said that agricultural loans of farmers have been waived, while the reality is that in Rajasthan, the land of more than 19 thousand farmers has been auctioned. Distressed by loans, more than 16 farmers in Rajasthan have committed suicide. The increase in electricity bills for domestic consumers has started coming after the forgiveness of 100 units of electricity.”
On the other hand, Rathore said that the Rajasthan government has made a provision of animal insurance of Rs 40,000 under the Kamdhenu Bima Yojana, but not a single animal in the state has been insured. He said, “The Congress government converted 3,606 government schools in Hindi medium to English medium but did not recruit a single English teacher, as a result of which Hindi teachers are teaching them.”
He said, “This claim of the former Union Minister is baseless that in the last five years, the Congress government in Rajasthan has provided government jobs to one and a half million youth, while the reality is that record leaks have occurred in 19 exams due to the supervision of government ministers and officials.
