Randeep Hooda, Neena Gupta to star in rom-com ‘Pachhattar Ka Chhora’

Neena Gupta and Randeep Hooda are all set to share screen in the upcoming romantic- comedy film ‘Pachhattar Ka Chhora.’

Neena Gupta dropped a picture on Instagram from the Muhurat and captioned it ,” AGE NO BAR? Presenting #PachhattarKaChhora, a quirky RomCom with a TWIST! FILMING BEGINS! Directed by @gilatarjayant,” while tagging the cast of the film.

JJ Creations LLP and Shivam Cinema Vision will produce “Pachhattar Ka Chhora,” which will also be co-produced by Rachayita Films Private Limited and feature associate producer Prolife Entertainment and Production. The Jayant Gilatar-directed movie, which stars Gulshan Grover and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal parts, began filming today.

This is the first movie to be filmed in Rajsamand, Rajasthan, where the shooting has already started. The “yo” hand signal appears to emerge from a body of water on the “Pachhattar Ka Chhora” trailer poster. On the poster, a full moon serves as the background while a pair of spectacles and a walking stick are seen in the sky.

“Panorama Studios has always backed interesting subjects and this one struck a chord immediately. With audiences having exposure to cinema from across the world now, we are looking out for stories that will be different yet entertaining. Pachhattar Ka Chhora is a film that talks about a very important aspect of life in a lighter vein. We are looking forward to bringing this journey of a 75-year-young man,” shared Kumar Mangat Pathak, Chairman- Panorama Studios.

Talking about the new project, Randeep said, “This one is unlike any that I have done before, a romantic drama with an undercurrent of situational humour that will hopefully leave audiences in splits while giving them some fodder for thought. Believe me when I say, you have not seen a love story like this before.”
