Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a big announcement on Thursday about the Ram Temple and said in Ayodhya Ram Temple will be ready by 1 January 2024.
Meanwhile, Amit Shah also took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi in South Tripura and said, “Congress hindered the construction of Ram Temple in courts. After the Supreme Court verdict came, Modiji began the construction of the temple. PM Modi performed the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ and began the construction of the temple.”
During the 2019 election campaign remarks made by Rahul Gandhi Amit Shah lashed the Congress leader.
“During the 2019 election campaign, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi used to say “mandir wahi banaenge…taarikh nahi bataenge” (we will make the temple, but won’t tell the date)”. Today, Rahul Gandhi and everybody should hear that a huge and sky-high temple will be ready for the people in Ayodhya on January 1, 2024,” Shah said.
Shah further said, “Today, Rahul Gandhi and everybody should hear that a huge and sky-high temple will be ready for the people in Ayodhya on January 1, 2024.”
Moreover, on fast track, the construction of the temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya is going on.
Earlier on 5 August 2020, the foundation stone for the construction of the Ram temple was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
However, on 9 November 2019, the five-judge Constitution bench of the Supreme Court led by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi (now retired) delivered its verdict on Ayodhya and said the lands belong to Ram Lalla.
