The plinth construction will be completed in the next month. At present, the seventh layer of plinth work is going on on the sanctum sanctorum, in which the stones carved in Rajasthan are being fitted. After this, walls and pillars will be installed around the sanctum sanctorum.
At present, the stones are being carved at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Workshop and Ramsevak Puram. But as soon as the work starts in the sanctum sanctorum, the demand for rocks will increase.
A 200-foot-long, 30 foot wide, and 30 foot high tinshed is being built at Ram Sevak Puram in Ayodhya. They look like big halogens. About 50 artisans are carving beam stones in this complex. Speaking to the daily Guardian, the artisans say that with the monsoon rains in the new shed, the sculpting will be able to run smoothly even at night. Due to this, the work of carving the beam stones will be completed as soon as possible. Now more artisans and workers will be hired.
