Rajnath Singh compares Cong to Pak in election rally

While addressing the election rally in Rajsamand, Rajasthan, BJP’s star campaigner and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made a big statement. He said, “The trust of the people in Indian leaders has been slowly eroding due to the difference in the words and deeds of Indian leaders. Congress has deepened this crisis of trust.” On Friday, Rajnath was addressing the nomination assembly of BJP candidate Deepti Maheshwari from Rajsamand and Vishwaraj Singh Mewad from Nathdwara. He said that if someone has taken up this fading trust as a challenge, it is Narendra Modi and the name is BJP.

Comparison of Congress with the World Cup
Rajnath Singh compared Congress to the Pakistani team in the assembly. He said, “This election is no less than the World Cup. The condition of Congress has also become like the Pakistani team in Rajasthan. As soon as the election starts, Congress is seen out of the tournament. BJP is advancing like a champion like the Indian team.”

He targeted the state government and said, “Communal elements are creating havoc in Rajasthan, and you are sleeping. Look in UP, someone tried to do even a little bit here and there and Jai Shri Ram. There should be no politics of Hindu-Muslim, caste-creed and religion. There should be no politics of appeasement.”

He added, “In Jaipur, after the dispute over the road accident of a youth specialising in the community, he is killed. So he is given a compensation of 50 lakhs and a dairy booth. If you give it to him, then Soni of Chittorgarh and Tapadia of Bhilwara should also get it. But your tongue curdles at their talk.”

On women’s safety, Rajnath said, “Congress MLA is not even safe in the state. Divya Maderna herself says that she is not safe. When even the legislator of the ruling party is afraid, what will happen to the daughters of the state? Gehlot Ji, why don’t you speak on this?”

The Defence Minister further said, “You know how many promises Congress has fulfilled. Leaders, organisations, or governments, should fulfil what they promise. There should be no difference between what is said and what is done. PM Narendra Modi and BJP have taken it as a challenge.” He said, “During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, I was the president of BJP. At that time, the declaration letter was made, and Modiji said that he should make only those promises that should be fulfilled. There should be no difference in our words and deeds. We did that and will continue to do so.”
