Cabinet Minister Rajvardhan Singh Rathore reached Jodhpur to participate in the Western Rajasthan Industrial Handicrafts Festival 2024. He was welcomed by workers and officials at the Circuit House in Jodhpur.
During the interaction with journalists, Rajvardhan Singh Rathore mentioned that in Rajasthan, they are working with the goal of attracting investment.
“Investors will now be the VIPs in Rajasthan. The government will work to provide facilities to industries. Our aim is to develop India by fulfilling the basic needs of industries by 2047,” the Minister said.
He stated that the previous government worked for its selfish interests and exploited people. The government’s work in the last six months, keeping all rules and regulations aside, is under review.
When asked if the Rural and Urban Olympics continue, Rathore said, “What have these Olympic Games given you? 200 crore rupees were spent, but only a T-shirt was received. No athlete was selected. The certificates received are of no use, neither any stadium nor any infotech has been prepared.”
Regarding the rising cost in the handicraft industry, Rathore said, “Piracy is happening in the seas at an international level, affecting every country. Steps are being taken against it. It is necessary to go on a long journey to reach the ship. But in the direction of reaching every corner of the world with handicrafts, work will be done.”
