The government in Rajasthan is making several efforts to secure the future of students in madrasas. In this series, the government has inaugurated the Chief Minister Madrasa Modernisation Scheme 2023-24. Under this scheme, all students registered with the Rajasthan Madrasa Board will be provided with two sets of uniforms per student. Minority Affairs Minister Shale Mohammad stated that approximately 2 lakh students will receive uniforms for 15.34 crore rupees.
Additionally, in the budget announcement for the year 2021-22, the distribution of 2 computers, 2 UPS, and 1 printer will be done for 1.82 crore rupees in 158 selected madrasas registered with the Rajasthan Madrasa Board.
Minister Shale Mohammad expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and stated that the state government is committed to modernising education in madrasas and is continuously striving towards it. Other states are also following the state’s plans. He mentioned that this equipment will enhance computer education in madrasas, and providing all students with uniform sets will send a positive message to the students studying in madrasas. On this occasion, the Director of the Department of Minority Affairs, Shri Jameel Ahmad Quraishi, Secretary of Rajasthan Madrasa Board Shri Sayyad Mukarram Shah, and members of the board and dignitaries were present.
