Rajasthan: Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Kooner passes away

Gurmeet Singh Kooner, the Congress candidate from Karanpur Assembly for the forthcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections, passed suddenly early this morning, according to a phone call from his son to ANI. Kooner was put forward by the party once more for the Karanpur Assembly seat. At the National Capital’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), he was receiving treatment. He was seventy-five. His son went on to tell ANI that the body had been brought to his hometown of Sri Ganganagar, a Rajasthani city, by the family. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed his condolences for the senior Congress leader’s passing in a message.
