For the past few days, non-interlocking work has been done on the Ambala division of the Northern Railway. In such a situation, non-interlocking work is being done at the Chhajali railway station located between the Jakhal-Dhuri railway section.
Rail traffic will be affected due to this work. According to Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, the train services operated on North Western Railway will be affected.
Due to the ongoing work, on 26 to 27 October, train number 04744, Ludhiana-Churu special train service will depart from Ludhiana at 03:25 pm instead of the scheduled time of 02:45 pm, with a delay of 40 minutes. Also, two trains that were affected on 28 October, the Ludhiana-Churu special and the Sirsa-Ludhiana special, have been rescheduled.
There is a possibility of some rail services being cancelled on this route. Among the partially cancelled railway services, so far information has been given about four trains running on 28 October. In train number 04576, the Ludhiana-Hisar train service will depart from Ludhiana on 28 October.
This train will operate till Dhuri station, but the train service is likely to be cancelled between Dhuri-Hisar. Train number 04575, Hisar-Ludhiana train service will operate from Dhuri station instead of Hisar, but this train service will remain partially cancelled between Hisar-Dhuri.
