Railway launches Vande Bharat Express between Bengaluru and Dharwad as trial run

On Monday morning, the Vande Bharat Express’ test run between the railway stations in Bengaluru and Dharwad began.

The train departed Bengaluru this morning at 5:45. On June 27 of this year, five new Vande Bharat Express trains will be simultaneously unveiled by the prime minister.

ICF’s production of these semi-high-speed trains in compliance with the Make in India concept will link numerous cities throughout the nation.
These trains would run on routes such as Goa-Mumbai, Patna-Ranchi, Bhopal-Indore, Bhopal-Jabalpur, and Bangalore-Hubli-Dharwad, according to the Ministry of Railways’ official sources.

With the addition of these three trains, there will now be 23 Vande Bharat trains operating on the nation’s rail system. By giving them a convenient and up-to-date means of rail transport, the installation of these trains will increase convenience for the citizens of these cities.

Modern facilities found on the Vande Bharat Express trains include plush seats, cutting-edge safety measures, and improved passenger services. Due to its semi-high operating speeds, these trains will provide faster connectivity and cut down on travel time between cities.

The government’s dedication to improving citizen travel alternatives and bolstering the railway infrastructure is demonstrated by Indian Railways’ initiative to debut these five new Vande Bharat Express trains.
