Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi claimed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and All India Majlis-e-Itehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) have been ousted from Telangana. He predicted a similar fate for Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the upcoming elections.
During his ‘Vijayabheri Yatra’, Gandhi highlighted the Congress party’s six guarantees for Telangana residents, emphasising their quick implementation once in power. The promises include monthly cash aid for women, reduced gas cylinder rates, housing and land assistance, and increased turmeric prices.
He emphasised BJP’s supportive stance towards KCR and alleged BJP and AIMIM’s coordinated strategy to weaken Congress’s electoral chances.
Addressing the public, he remarked on the stark contrast between Congress’s delivered promises in other states and BJP’s unfulfilled commitments.
Mr. Gandhi confidently declared a forthcoming “Congress Tsunami” in Telangana, ensuring a brighter future for the state under Congress governance.
