Rahul Gandhi turns chef for mum, makes her favorite jam

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has swept the internet as he posted a heartfelt video with his mother Sonia Gandhi. In the video, Rahul Gandhi has turned into a chef to please his mother by making her favorite orange jam. Rahul Gandhi posted a cinematic video on YouTube where he captured the beautiful moments of the entire process of jam making along with Sonia Gandhi.

He posted the video and it’s clips on various social media platforms on the occasion of New Year. He wrote on his Instagram, “My kinda jam session, Happy New Year everyone!”

In the video, Rahul Gandhi said that the recipe of the jam belongs to his sister Priyanka Gandhi and he is using it today. He also mentioned that it is Sonia Gandhi’s favourite jam. The mother and son duo cracked the kitchen with jokes and light-hearted humor.

Rahul Gandhi jokingly asked Sonia, “If the BJP wants the jam they can get it too, What do you say mummy?”
“They will throw it at us!” Sonia playfully replied.
Rahul Gandhi laughed at the witty comment of his mother and said, “Then it’s good, we can pick it back up!”

The YouTube video also consisted of a personal Q&A session between the two. Upon asking his best and most annoying qualities, Sonia Gandhi praised her son saying that he is very caring and affectionate however he is as stubborn as she is.

While talking about his culinary skills, Rahul Gandhi said, “When I was studying and working in England that’s when I learnt this stuff. I had no choice but to figure it out by myself so I know a couple of things. When I need it I can cook.”

Rahul talks about how a lot of political fights in the history were because of food itself. He gave the example of Mahatma Gandhi’s nutritional values and ideas and said that he has his own set of ideology regarding food, slightly distinct from him.
