Punjab Police arrests sixth shooter in Dera follower murder case

The Punjab Police has got a big success in the Dera follower murder case, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of the Punjab Police, in collaboration with the Rajasthan Police and central agencies, arrested the sixth shooter, Ramzan Khan alias Raj Hooda, from Jaipur after a brief encounter. There is also news of the accused being shot in the leg during the encounter. He was injured
with two bullets.
DGP Gaurav Yadav himself has given information in this regard by tweeting. On November 10, Ram Rahim Dera follower Pradeep was murdered by unknown assailants in Kotkapura. It was a planned execution by about four assailants. Later, Goldie Brar, a gangster sitting in Canada, took the responsibility of killing the Dera Follower. Police have registered a case against four people including gangster Goldie Brar in this matter. The Punjab Police has so far arrested two shooters – Bhupinder Singh Golli and Manpreet Singh Mani from Hoshiarpur. Before that Delhi Police had arrested three shooters from Punjab itself.
However, in the meantime, the police have detained and interrogated the son of a sub-inspector studying in a private college in Patiala, who arranged a stay for the shooters.
Five shooters have already been arrested in this case. Three of them including two minors were caught by the special cell of the Delhi police while two were arrested by the Punjab police.
After collecting vital clues, the AGTF teams led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Bikram Brar and DSP Rajan Parminder managed to trace his location in a building at Vinayak Enclave Colony in Jaipur, where he was holed up with his two accomplices in rented accommodation, said the DGP.
As per the police investigation, the conspiracy to kill Dera follower Pradeep Kumar was hatched in Faridkot Central Jail. Bhola Singh, a close aide of gangster Goldie Brar, was locked here. He is a relative of Manpreet, another accused in the Dera follower murder case. It was suspected that he had got Manpreet to talk to Goldie Brar along with another conspirator Harjinder Singh Raju. At his behest, weapons were made available to
the murderers.
