An Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and his gunman in Ludhiana East, Punjab, lost their lives in a tragic accident on Friday night. The incident occurred on Dyalpura bypass in Samrala when their vehicle collided head-on with another SUV. The ACP, identified as Sandeep Singh, and his gunman, Paramjot Singh, sustained severe injuries in the collision.
Reportedly, the duo was traveling from Chandigarh to Ludhiana when the accident happened. They were promptly taken to a nearby hospital after being extricated from the wreckage. Unfortunately, their vehicle caught fire shortly after the collision.
Although the driver survived the crash, his condition remains stable. The identities of the occupants of the other SUV involved in the accident have not been confirmed.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, and a case has been registered at the Samrala police station. Further details regarding the accident are currently under examination by the police.
