‘Punjab Government Transfers 50 PCS Officers’

On Tuesday, the government issued transfer and appointment orders for 50 PCS officers on the occasion of Dussehra. Under this, the responsibilities have been assigned to 7 officers who were awaiting appointments. Additionally, 23 SDMs have been changed. According to the list issued by the IAS Branch of the Personnel Wing, PCS officer Jagwinderjit Singh Grewal has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in Moga, while Bikramjeet Singh Shergill has been appointed as Joint Secretary Printing and Stationery, pending appointment. Dr. Nayan’s services were assigned to the local body division, appointing her as the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur. Amarbir Kaur Dhillon has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board.
Tejdeep Singh Saini, who was the SDM of Dhar Kalan, has been transferred and assigned to the post of Joint Secretary, General Administration, and Cooperation. Harjeet Singh Sandhu has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Science Technology, and Environment, in addition to his role as Additional Secretary, Housing and Urban Development.
Harjot Kaur has been appointed as Deputy Secretary, Home Affairs, and Justice. Nidhi Kumud Bambah has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in Ferozepur, while Amit Mahajan has been kept as the SDM of Jalandhar, with the additional charge of SDM Jalandhar. Navreet Kaur Sekhon has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) in Patiala. The duties of MCS Bathinda’s Commissioner Poonam Singh have been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in Bathinda, and Rajesh Kumar Sharma, who was the SDM in Patti, has been retained in the same position while giving him the additional charge of SDM Muktsar Sahib.
Punam has been appointed as Deputy Secretary, Home Affairs, and Justice in Payal, while Rajinder Kumar Sharma, who was the SDM in Fazilka, has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner, General, in Patiala. Gurminder Kumar has been appointed as Assistant Excise Commissioner (Headquarters) in SAS Nagar, and Jalalabad’s SDM Ravinder Singh Arora has been appointed as SDM Abohar. Parleen Kaur Barad has been appointed as SDM Jaito, and Rishav Bansal, who was the SDM in Shahkot, has been appointed as SDM Shahkot, with the additional charge of RTI Officer, Jalandhar.
Gagan Deep Singh has been appointed as SDM Tanda, and Jasanjit Singh, who was the SDM in Gidderbaha, has been appointed as SDM Banga. Varun Kumar has been appointed as SDM Ferozepur, and Jagrind Singh Aujla has been appointed as SDM Moga, with the additional charge of RTI Officer, Moga. Gagandeep Singh, who was the SDM of Jheera, has been appointed as SDM Gidderbaha, and Jashanjeet Singh, who was the SDM of Banga, has been appointed as SDM Hoshiarpur.
