According to sources, the administration of Sri Fatehgarh Sahib district has issued orders to close liquor vends for three days in the district. It has been stated by the administration that within a radius of 3 kilometers from Gurudwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib and Gurudwara Jyoti Saroop Sahib, alcohol will not be served in hotels.

The liquor vends will be completely closed for 3 days, meaning they will remain shut from the 26th to the 28th of December. The government has taken this decision due to the martyrdom ceremonies. The district administration has issued orders accordingly. It’s important to mention that on the 28th of December, it is the martyrdom day of the young sons, Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh.
