Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh would virtually join the people in offering ‘Ardas’ from his residence on the auspicious occasion of 400th Prakash Purb celebrations of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib on Saturday. Divulging details of the day-long programme on this historic occasion, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that the Gurpurab celebrations would begin from the residence of Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Charanjit Singh Channi at Morinda from 11 am. Further, the Chief Minister’s address will follow at 12:10 pm, after which various other programmes have been scheduled.
In light of the Covid crisis, the Chief Minister had also appealed to the people to watch the events on TV and offer ‘Ardas’ from their homes and avoid congregating at religious places given the crisis situation.
