Punjab: Another Punjabi singer embroiled in controversy

Another Punjabi singer from Mukaropur village in Fatehgarh Sahib, Satvinder Bugga, has faced a demand for filing an FIR against him. Bugga had been entangled in a land dispute with his brother for a long time, leading to a quarrel last night, during which Bugga’s sister-in-law passed away. In the aftermath, the deceased’s family demanded an FIR against Satvinder and staged a protest outside the hospital.
Satvinder’s brother, Davinder Singh Bhola, mentioned that there was a dispute again last night, during which Satvinder pushed his wife, resulting in her deteriorating health. She was rushed to the hospital and later referred to Chandigarh. Doctors there declared her dead. Davinder Bhola alleged that Satvinder Bugga is responsible for his wife’s death and should face severe action. He also accused the police of inaction, claiming they were supporting Satvinder, who has been threatening him persistently, stating that nothing can harm him.
On the other hand, Bugga refuted all these allegations, claiming that the police were present at the time of the incident. His wife was standing there and suddenly collapsed due to a sudden illness, leading to her death. He denied any involvement and stated that the assault was not by him but against him.
