The Vicky Middukheda Foundation, as part of its social responsibility, conducted a blood donation and free dental camp during the Vimarsh Fest at Panjab University. The event, held in memory of student leader late Vicky Middukheda, saw the participation of Ajaypal Singh Middukheda, Vicky’s brother and Akali Dal leader, who inaugurated the camp by donating blood. Students, including JP Brar, Prince Takhar, Karanvir Kranti, and others, also actively participated, contributing to a total of 110 units of blood.
The blood donation camp was organized by teams of doctors from PGIMER’s Transfusion Department, led by Dr. Anubhav Gupta, and Dr. Harivansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Sector 25, led by Dr. Prabhjot Kaur. Ajaypal Singh Middukheda shared that the Vicky Middukheda Foundation has planned various social activities, including a project to support economically disadvantaged students in their higher education.
The Foundation aims to continue Vicky’s legacy through initiatives such as blood donation, dental camps, and upcoming projects like book fairs for students. The student donors expressed appreciation for the initiative, acknowledging its positive impact on society.
