The government may have to bear the brunt of disappointment among organized teachers and employees for not providing opportunities for promotions in the Cabinet meeting. Ashok Sharma, the regional president of the All Rajasthan Teachers Employees Federation Organized, said that there were high hopes for promotions from the Cabinet, however, the government has disappointed teachers and employees. He said that they have been waiting for promotions for the past 13 years. He also mentioned that even if the government had provided promotion opportunities, it would not have imposed any financial burden on them.
Ashok Sharma stated that not providing opportunities for promotions to organized teachers and employees in the Cabinet meeting goes against the principles of natural justice and is not morally justified. This is causing mental distress to employees and teachers. He said that when the government can approve the Rajasthan Education State and Subordinate Services Amended Rules, 2023, based on this, it can be assumed that there will be progress in the educational landscape in Rajasthan. Similarly, the Rajasthan Voluntary Rural Education Service Rules 2010 can also be amended.
