Pakistan’s pro-Sikh for Justice has threatened Himachal CM Jai Ram Thakur and will not allow the tricolour to be hoisted on 15 August on Independence Day. The separatist organisation has claimed Himachal as part of Punjab. CM Thakur called such threats and statements a conspiracy by those who spread instability and tension.
CM Thakur said that no one has the power to stop any Indian from flying the tricolour on 15 August.
The country is capable of giving a strong answer to the nefarious acts of those who wish to divide the country. The CM said that strict action is needed against those anti-nationals, who think of breaking the world’s largest democracy and harming its secular image in any way.
There is no need to respond to the words and bad antics but the CM made it clear that he is not afraid of any such threats or things and he clearly said that whoever dared to think like this against our country the world has seen the consequences.
CM Thakur said that such calls are coming to many people of Himachal and security agencies have been asked to investigate it. He appealed to stay alert and do not pay much attention to all this.
