Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be arriving in Bengaluru on June 20, on a two-day official visit to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple rail and road infrastructure projects worth over Rs 27,000, said a press release.
According to the Prime Minister’s itinerary, which has reached the State Head Quarters on Sunday, PM Narendra Modi will be landing at Yelahanka Airforce Base on Monday and immediately proceed to Indian Institute of Science to inaugurate Centre for Brain Research Centre and Super Computing Facility, and also lay the Foundation Stone for Bagchi Parthasarathy Hospital, there.
PM Modi will then move to Nagarabhavi Road to unveil the Statue of the Architect of the Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar, inaugurate Dr B R Ambedkar School of Economics University(BASE) and he will also dedicate to the Nation 150 ‘Technology Hubs’ that have been developed by transforming Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Karnataka.
The Prime Minister will then reach Kommaghatta to dedicate to the nation various projects in Bengaluru including the inauguration India’s one and the only and first Air Conditioned Railway Station which is in Bayyappana Halli, lay the Foundation Stone for the Bengaluru Sub-Urban Railway Projects and six National Highway Projects in Karnataka worth Rs 7231 crore, comprising of various five National Highway Projects and one Multi-Model Logistic Park projects in the same venue.
The Prime Minister will then leave for Mysuru to lay the Foundation Stone for New Coaching Complex to be established at Naganahalli and Mysuru, at Maharaja College Grounds.
Then, proceed to All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) and dedicate the Centre of Excellence, there.
The Prime Minister will interact with the beneficiaries of the Central Government Scheme at the same venue and halt at Mysuru on that day.
He will dedicate Veda Patashala Building and release commentaries on Yoga and Bhakthi at Suttur Math. PM Narendra Modi will visit Chamundi Hills on the same evening and have the Darshan of Goddess Sri Chamundeshwari at the Sri Chamundeshwari Temple and return to Mysuru and halt there on that day.
He will participate at the International Day of Yoga with the theme Yoga for Humanity on Tuesday on June 21 at a mammoth function organized by the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidda and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) and leave for New Delhi in the same morning.
