Prakash Ambedkar’s VBA joins MVA and I.N.D.I.A. bloc

Leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and I.N.D.I.A. alliance have decided to include Prakash Ambedkar’s Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) in their opposition bloc. The decision was announced by Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut after a meeting held in Delhi among leaders of Congress, NCP, and Sena UBT to discuss seat sharing for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Raut expressed satisfaction with the positive discussions on seat-sharing and assured that the partners in the MVA and I.N.D.I.A. would fight the elections together. The inclusion of VBA in the alliance was agreed upon during the meeting, with the number of seats to be shared with VBA to be decided later.

Earlier in the day, Raut emphasized Sena UBT’s claim on 23 seats, highlighting the party’s historical presence in these constituencies. He stressed that while there might be some differences on a few seats, the MVA partners would come together to fight against the perceived dictatorial regime in the country.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar, during the discussions, advocated for including VBA in the MVA, expressing the opinion that in the upcoming elections, NCP, Congress, Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, and left parties should collaborate.
Commenting on various issues, Pawar addressed criticism from his estranged nephew and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He clarified his decision not to accept any parliamentary position after his present tenure in the Rajya Sabha, emphasizing that those who have left the party will not be reinstated.
