Political turmoil unfolds in Haryana as leaders stake claims on Hisar LS seat

In Haryana, the fight between BJP leader, former Union Minister Birendra Singh and Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala has reached Hisar Lok Sabha seat. JJP’s senior vice-president Dushyant Chautala has now staked claim on the Hisar Lok Sabha seat.
After returning from the Rajasthan election campaign, Dushyant Chautala said, “JJP has the right on Hisar seat. Our candidate will contest from here. Hisar Lok Sabha constituency is my workplace. I myself will contest the assembly elections from Uchana seat.”
After Dushyant made this statement, the political landscape has intensified. This is primarily due to the current control of the Hisar Lok Sabha seat by the BJP, held by Birendra Singh’s son, Brijendra Singh, who serves as the Member of Parliament. It’s noteworthy that the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) and BJP are currently in a coalition government in Haryana.
Concurrently, Kuldeep Bishnoi, who switched allegiance from the Congress to the BJP, has conveyed his eagerness to vie for the Hisar seat. Further complicating matters, Captain Abhimanyu, the former MLA from the Narnaund constituency and ex-Finance Minister, has recently alluded to the potential of entering the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in a gathering with party workers.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP candidate Brijendra Singh defeated JJP’s Dushyant Chautala by about 3 lakh votes from Hisar seat. Whereas in the 2014 elections, INLD seat candidate Dushyant Chautala defeated Kuldeep Bishnoi by about 32 thousand votes. After winning the election, he became the youngest MP.
As the time for the next assembly elections approached, former Birendra Singh started speaking openly about the alliance. Before the civic elections held last year, Birendra Singh had said that now BJP does not need crutches. His reference was towards JJP.
At the same time, in response to this, Ajay Chautala had said that Birendra Singh should not talk like this, he is only a member of BJP. After this, the process of Dushyant Chautala and Birendra Singh giving statements against each other started. Responding to Birendra Singh’s statements, Dushyant Chautala had said that he would contest the assembly elections from Uchana only.
