Political stalwarts using nasty language in Haryana

A verbal spat between bigwigs of different political parties continues to take an unpleasant turn, involving a public exchange of nasty words which is a matter of serious concern.
In a bid to prove dominance over each other, the political stalwarts are using objectionable language against each other. The kind of terminology that the leaders have been using towards each other for some time now is very abysmal. In an episode, a verbal spat surfaced between former Union Minister and Congress leader Jai Prakash and JJP national president Ajay Singh Chautala. They used objectionable language for each other, thus raising questions on each other’s conduct. Following Ajay Chautala’s comment, Jai Prakash took a dig at him stating that these people themselves have been his servants. He further said that during Dushyant Chautala’s first Lok Sabha election, Ajay had sought his help and he extended the help which resulted in Dushyant Chautala’s victory.
He also accused Ajay Chautala of holding a press conference after drinking alcohol. He had given a statement a few days ago about Jai Prakash terming him as his servant and a tractor driver which led to verbal spat between them. Responding to this, Jai Prakash said that he has become a leader by hard work. The language and behaviour of the leaders have become quite difficult to understand. In the last Vidhan Sabha, the Speaker had urged MLAs not to use foul language against each other.
Earlier, Haryana Women’s Commission chief Renu Bhatia had made a highly extremely objectionable language on 20 April during an awareness programme. She had said that women in the past did not go to perform Hanuman’s aarti in OYO rooms. Before going to such a place, they should think that bad things can happen to them. On the increasing cases of physical abuse with women, Bhatia, while holding the girls responsible for this, said, “Why do they go to the OYO room? Girls don’t go to perform Hanuman ji’s aarti, before going to such places, it should be kept in mind that wrong things may happen to you there.”
