Political fracas over Nuh violence site visits

The communal violence that broke out in Nuh on July 31 has led to uproar in the political corridors of the state. The ruling BJP and its ally, the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), are accusing the opposition of politicising the matter to gain political mileage. Following the issue, several opposition parties trying to visit the affected areas were denied by the local administration, which is a matter of serious concern.
It is worth stating that opposite parties, namely the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLA) and the Communist Party of India (CPI), were stopped by the local administration, citing Section 144. Presently, the situation in Nuh is still critical and tense. While the BJP is taking a jibe at the leaders from opposite parties, stating that they are making an attempt at political tourism.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), an entrant in state politics that has failed to prove its mettle so far, also announced that it would visit the Nuh on August 9. The state government stopped the delegation of party leaders led by Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Gupta midway by deploying heavy police force.
