Police Seize Properties of 7 Terror Handlers in Baramulla Linked to Pakistan

In a significant crackdown on terrorism, the police in Baramulla have seized properties worth lakhs belonging to seven terror handlers based in Pakistan. Acting on an attachment order granted by the Hon’ble Additional Sessions Court Baramulla, the police confiscated 8 Kanals, 6 Marlas & 2 Sersai of land owned by individuals linked to terror activities.

The identified individuals include Sajad Ahmad Bhat, Irshad Ahmad Khan, Gulla Mochi, Mohd Aslam Khan, Mohd Beigh, Khalid Mir, and Rafiq Ahmad Bakerwal. These properties were linked to the accused in case FIR No.02/2008 under various sections including 2/3 EIMCO Act, 120 B, 121, 124 RPC, and 19 UA (P) Act of PS Boniyar.

This operation underscores the unwavering commitment of the police to tackle terrorism and dismantle its support networks. The seizure sends a strong message against those involved in terror activities and reinforces the resolve to ensure peace and security in the region.
