In another attempt to disturb peace in Kashmir terrorists on Sunday, a police inspector was shot by terrorists near Eidgah in Srinagar. The injured, identified as Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani, had been playing cricket with local children at the Eidgah ground when the attack occurred. Inspector Wani was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment, where the doctors reported that his condition was critical.
