Police achieved success, one arrested along with 11 live cartridges and illegal weapons

Senior Police officer Captain Rupnagar Gulneet Singh Khurana  as part of the operation against disruptive elements. Said that,  “the district police had successfully apprehended an individual in possession of illegal firearms”
Police party led by Rupnagar, during the blockade at Morinda Basi Road T Point Doomcheri, checked a car number PB 12 AB 6545 and arrested Simranjit Singh (Simra) resident of Kalaran with these illegal weapons.He claimed that from them, two 32-bore handguns, one 315-bore handgun, eleven live rounds, three swords, and forty fatal injections were found; case number 103 has been filed against them. Additionally, the senior police captain told me that Simranjeet Singh Simra had a criminal history.
There have been cases filed against him related to NDPS, the Arms Act, premeditated murder, etc. Eleven cases have been filed in accordance with the Act and other provisions. He stated that the accused is still being questioned and that it is possible that many more significant hints will be discovered.
