PO staff of Chandigarh Police arrests 5 declared fugitives including one PO

The team of PO and summon staff of Chandigarh Police arrested 5 proclaimed offenders/fugitives, including a PO involved in a 7-year-old riot case. Providing information, Hariom Sharma, Inspector/In-charge of PO and Summons staff, said that the police team arrested 5 proclaimed criminal fugitives.

PO Joginder, a resident of Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh, was arrested near the Community Centre, Dhanas, under a case of assault at Police Station-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. The accused were arrested and presented in court. Later, Joginder became absent before the court, and on the court’s orders, he was declared a PO. The accused was produced before the concerned court.

In the second case, PO Subasis Pradhan, a resident of Mauli Jagra, Chandigarh, was arrested from Indian Oil Petrol Pump, Sector 33, Chandigarh, in a case of Police Station-Industrial Area, Chandigarh. The accused was arrested and presented before the court. Later, he became absent from court, and the court declared him a PO. The accused was produced before the concerned court.

In the third case, PO Vishal alias Rocky, a resident of Deep Complex, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh, was arrested under Section 379 in a case of Police Station-Industrial Area, Chandigarh, near Bus Stand, Maloya, Chandigarh. The accused was arrested and presented before the court. Later, he became absent from court, and the court declared him a PO. The accused was produced before the concerned court.

In another case, PO Govind, a resident of Dairy Complex, Maloya, Chandigarh, was arrested in a case registered under Section 138 NI Act. He was declared a PO by the court.
The PO was produced before the concerned court.
In another case, two non-bailable warrants were executed along with the arrest of accused Ramesh Sharma, a resident of Phase-11, Mohali. The warrants were issued in cases registered under Section 138 NI Act. The absconding person was produced before the court.
