Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day spiritual pilgrimage to Tamil Nadu on January 20-21, where he will visit several prominent temples, immersing himself in cultural and religious fervor.

On the 20th of January, at 11 AM, the Prime Minister is scheduled to participate in a program at the historic Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli. Renowned scholars will recite verses from the Kamba Ramayanam, adding a cultural dimension to the visit.

Later that day, around 2 PM, the Prime Minister will proceed to Rameswaram to perform Darshan and Pooja at the Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple. As part of the ‘Shri Ramayana Paryana’ program, he will witness the chanting of the Ramayana in multiple languages, symbolizing the unity in diversity of the country’s cultural heritage. The evening will be marked by the Prime Minister’s participation in Bhajan Sandhya, where devotional songs will resonate in the temple complex.

On January 21, the Prime Minister is set to visit the Kothandaramaswamy Temple in Dhanushkodi, dedicated to Sri Kothandarama Swamy. Additionally, he will explore Arichal Munai, the legendary site associated with the construction of the Ram Setu.

The Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam, Trichy, holds historical significance and is known for its architectural grandeur. The Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameshwaram, with its connection to Sri Rama and Mata Sita, and the Kothandaramaswamy Temple in Dhanushkodi, steeped in legends, add a sacred touch to the Prime Minister’s itinerary.

This spiritual journey reflects the Prime Minister’s commitment to embracing the diverse cultural fabric of the nation.
