Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on an exciting adventure through the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve in Assam on Saturday (March 09) morning, immersing himself in the natural beauty of the UNESCO world heritage site.
His exploration began with an exhilarating elephant safari in the picturesque Mihimukh area of the Central Kohora Range within the park, followed by an equally captivating jeep safari in the same vicinity. Joining the Prime Minister on this memorable journey were park director Sonali Ghosh and other Assam forest officials.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the Prime Minister’s visit and facilitate any necessary security arrangements during this period, authorities had announced the temporary suspension of jeep safaris and elephant rides in the Kaziranga range of Kohora from March 07 to 09.
