Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who attended the BJP’s parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday, told the leaders that the more the party rises and succeeds, the more the opposition will attack.
This morning’s BJP parliamentary party meeting was held in the Parliament complex here. This was the first time this meeting took place during the session’s ongoing second half.
The meeting began with BJP MPs congratulating PM Modi on leading them to three significant victories in the recently concluded Assembly elections in the northeastern states. The party leaders congratulated PM Modi on the party’s victory in Tripura, Meghalaya, and Nagaland, where they have a coalition government.
According to sources, the Prime Minister stated, “The more success and rise the BJP experiences, the more attacks from the other side will increase.” “You must be prepared for a tough fight.”
PM Modi’s remark came during a period in Parliament when the opposition has continued to demand a Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Adani-Hindenburg issue, and the BJP has demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi for insulting the prime minister.
While the opposition parties continue to call Rahul Gandhi’s removal as a Lok Sabha MP an attack on democracy, BJP and NDA MPs continue to criticize the Congress Party and Rahul Gandhi for insulting Veer Savarkar and the OBC community.
