Chancellor of Austria Karl Nehammer, on Saturday, announced that PM Narendra Modi will be visiting Vienna next week. In a post on X, he wrote, “I very much look forward to welcoming Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, the world’s largest democracy, next week in Vienna”.
He further said that it was a special honor as it marks the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister in over forty years to the European country. PM’s trip would also mark 75 years of diplomatic relations between both countries. “We will have the opportunity to talk about further deepening our bilateral relationship and closer cooperation on the many geopolitical challenges.”
