Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to several regions of the nation for a two-day visit starting on Monday to introduce various developmental schemes from Madhya Pradesh.
The Prime Minister will travel to Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu during his stay. PM Modi will attend National Panchayati Raj Day celebrations in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa today to begin his nearly 5,000 kilometre journey. There, he will lay the cornerstone for and dedicate projects worth over Rs 17,000 crore. The Prime Minister will speak to all of the Gramme Sabhas and Panchayati Raj Institutions nationwide during the event. PM Modi will launch an integrated eGramSwaraj and GeM platform for panchayat-level public procurement.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the objective of eGramSwaraj – Government eMarketplace (GeM) integration is to enable the Panchayats to procure their goods and services through GeM, leveraging the eGramSwaraj platform.
The PM will hand over around 35 lakh SVAMITVA Property Cards to beneficiaries. After this programme, around 1.25 crore property cards would have been distributed under SVAMITVA Scheme in the country, including those distributed.
