On Tuesday, 51,000 appointment letters for the Rozgar Mela will be distributed by the prime minister via video conference. On this occasion, he will also speak to these appointments. According to a Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) release, PM Modi will give these appointment letters to newly hired employees in government departments and organizations. 46 cities across the nation will host the Rozgar Mela.

State governments, UTs, and central government departments are all participating in the recruitment. The new hires will join the government in a number of Ministries/Departments, including the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Department of Posts, the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Higher Education, and others.

Through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 680 e-learning courses have been made available for “anywhere, any device” learning format, the newly appointed appointees are also getting the chance to train themselves. On October 22 of last year, Prime Minister Modi officially began the campaign to create 10 lakh government jobs by launching the “Rozgar Mela.” On September 26, PM Modi will also speak at the G20 University Connect Finale event at Bharat Mandapam in the capital.
