Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida for inviting India to the G-7 Summit as a guest country. PM Modi has also congratulated Kishida on his appointment as Japan’s new prime minister on phone. The G-7 Summit which includes the world’s most industrialized countries will take place in Japan in 2023. Modi expressed his commitment to work with Kishida and other G-7 leaders to tackle global challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic and climate change.
