PM Modi sets tone for LS polls, asks BJP leaders to prioritize public welfare

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jaipur on Friday evening. BJP leaders welcomed him at the airport. After that, he went straight to the BJP headquarters. Where he held a meeting with ministers, newly elected MLAs, and state officials. During this, the PM told everyone that they should reach out to the public, work together and take the party forward. This meeting aimed to set the tone for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Ministers, MLAs, and officials who came out of the meeting refrained from speaking in front of the media. Minister Vijay Choudhary went so far as to say that PM Modi would tell what happened inside. However, Minister Babulal Kharadi spoke about the discussion in the meeting related to PM Modi’s Lok Sabha elections.
He said, “We will win the Lok Sabha elections. The public is with Modi ji…PM Modi has said that there is tremendous enthusiasm among the public regarding the plans for the welfare of the poor. PM has told everyone that we have to work for the welfare of the poor.”
Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje did not attend the meeting. It is said that she has gone to Lucknow. However, her absence became the subject of discussion among all MLAs present in PM Modi’s meeting. Although Vasundhara Raje’s supporters considered to be all MLAs attended this meeting.
It is worth mentioning that this time, the BJP high command did not make Raje the Chief Minister. Along with that, her supporters did not get ministerial positions. In this situation, Vasundhara’s displeasure is evident. Although Raje took part in most of the public meetings during the election campaign in Rajasthan.
However, after the imposition of the Model Code of Conduct, and the meetings that took place, Raje did not attend them because she was a star campaigner herself. Before that, in all the meetings that took place, she shared the stage with PM Modi.
Indira Rasoi renamed as Annapurna Rasoi Yojana
The Bhajan Lal government has changed the name of the former Ashok Gehlot government’s Indira Rasoi Yojana. Now, this scheme will be known by the name of Shri Annapurna Rasoi Yojana.
Considering the shortcomings of the Indira Rasoi Yojana, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has made the decision.
It is believed that soon the new name will be written on all Indira Rasois, and it will start in a new avatar. It is worth mentioning that during the Vasundhara Raje government, food was delivered to people through vehicles under the name of Annapurna Rasoi Yojana.
