PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi among other leaders extend wishes on Milad-un-Nabi

On the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the nation.

“Best wishes for Milad-un-Nabi. May this occasion further the spirit of peace, togetherness, and compassion in our society. “On Twitter, Prime Minister Modi wrote.”

The Muslim community celebrates it every year as the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted,  “Happy Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi to all the countrymen. Hazrat Mohammad Sahib always gave the message of mutual brotherhood, peace and human service. His thoughts are inspirational for all of humanity. “

The Congress on its official Twitter handle shared greetings on the occasion. “Hearty greetings on the festive occasion of Milad-un-Nabi to all. May everyone’s lives be filled with bountiful blessings, happiness, and prosperity!,” the party wrote on Twitter.

“Eid Milad-Un-Nabi Mubarak! “May this auspicious occasion bring peace, harmony, good health, and prosperity to everyone,” tweeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

The celebration of Eid-e-Milad, often referred to as Milad, commemorates the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. It is universally believed that the Prophet was born to Abdullah and Bibi Amina in Mecca in 570 CE on the 12th day of Rabee-ul-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar.

For the Muslim population worldwide, this event has great social and religious significance. On this day, people parade through the streets in large groups, congregations are set up, and religious leaders deliver sermons on the life and teachings of the Prophet. The day serves as a reminder for individuals to have faith in Allah and to carry on with their good deeds and acts of kindness.
