Union Home Minister, Amit Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and stated that his ‘Aatmnirbhar Bharat’ campaign was immensely effective in the upliftment of the 60 crore people out of poverty.
Speaking passionately about the central government’s leading initiative, Amit Shah emphasized its goal of guiding the nation toward self-sufficiency. He highlighted that the primary objective of the campaign is to empower trade, industry, and businesses, ultimately fostering self-reliance among the 1.4 billion people of India.
“PM Modi has outlined his vision of an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. It is a visionary idea and campaign. Being independent and self-reliant in the fields of space and defense is also a part of this campaign. It is aimed at making our trade, industry, businesses and the 140 crore people of India ‘Atmanirbhar.’ Through his visionary ideas and policies, PM Modi has lifted 60 crore people out of poverty,” the Union Home Minister said.
The Home Minister made the remarks while addressing the recipients of the PM-SVANidhi Yojana and their families in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He further talked about the constructive measures taken by the Centre during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He proudly said that India is the first country to have developed an indigenous vaccine. He said, “When Corona came, everyone was concerned about the pandemic’s fallout in India. However, the Prime Minister did everything in his power to help us overcome the pandemic.” He added, “We all know that India was the first country to come out with an indigenous vaccine to treat Covid-19. Proper arrangements were made to ensure that no one faced any hassles in accessing our vaccines or obtaining their (vaccination) certificates. Vaccines were provided free of cost to citizens.”
