Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Kerala on Wednesday, conducted a lively roadshow in Thrissur. Landing at Nedumbassery by a special flight from Agatti in Lakshadweep, the Prime Minister took a helicopter to Thrissur’s Kuttanalloor, where he was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Accompanied by BJP state president K Surendran and actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi, PM Modi’s motorcade traversed through the cheering masses. Flower petals were showered on the Prime Minister, who reciprocated with waves as he walked to the venue.

PM Modi is scheduled to address the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Mahila Conference at Naikkanal. The conference, titled ‘Sthree Shakthi Modikk Oppam’ (Empower Women with Modi), is organized by the Kerala unit of the BJP to congratulate PM Modi for successfully passing the Women’s Reservation Bill in both Houses of Parliament.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 1,156 crores in Lakshadweep’s Kavaratti. Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, PM Modi highlighted the government’s focus on border areas and those at the edge of the sea in the last decade.

During his visit to Lakshadweep, PM Modi interacted with beneficiaries of various government schemes, noting the positive impact on diverse segments of the population, including women, the elderly, and farmers.
