PM Modi flagged off Bengal’s first Vande Bharat Express

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday gave the people of West Bengal their first Vande Bharat Express. PM Modi flagged off the semi-high-speed train that will run between Howrah and New Jalpaiguri. Through video conferencing PM Modi flagged off the nation’s seventh Vande Bharat express train minutes after the last rite of his mother Heeraben Modi. Earlier in the morning, PM Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi passed away at the age of 100 in Ahmedabad.
