As exam season approaches, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met students at Delhi’s Sunder Nursery to discuss their exam worries in a fun and relaxed setting. This interaction comes just ahead of the 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha.
Sharing Personal School Stories
PM Modi recalled his own school experiences, joking about his handwriting. He said, “When I was in school, my teachers made a lot of efforts to help me improve my handwriting. Their handwriting skills may have flourished, but mine didn’t.”
Students Feel Comfortable with PM Modi
Students from Kerala, Punjab, Bihar, and Tripura were present at the event. One student said, “It didn’t feel like we talked to the Prime Minister, he was just like a friend.” Another excitedly said he came to share his “Dil Ki Baat,” to which PM Modi replied, “I do Mann Ki Baat, you can do your Dil Ki Baat.”
Encouraging a Stress-Free Exam Environment
PM Modi also gave tips on how students can create a stress-free environment for their exams. He encouraged students to stay calm and focused as they prepare.
A New Format for Pariksha Pe Charcha
This year, Pariksha Pe Charcha will take place on February 10 at 11 am, with an updated format and a larger group of experts joining the conversation. The event will include personalities like Deepika Padukone, Mary Kom, and others to empower students.
Massive Growth in Participation
Since its launch in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has seen incredible growth. This year, over 3.56 crore students registered for the event, marking a significant increase from 2.26 crore registrations last year. The program has become a nationwide movement focused on mental well-being and holistic education.
Interactive Activities Across the Country
To build excitement, various activities took place between January 12 and January 25, 2025. These activities, involving 1.42 crore students, 12.81 lakh teachers, and 2.94 lakh schools, aimed to reduce stress and improve focus. Students took part in fun events like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, yoga, and even meme competitions.

Pariksha Pe Charcha has grown beyond just an event. It has become a platform to tackle exam stress and promote a balanced approach to education. Every year, it brings together students, parents, and teachers, creating a supportive community for learning.
