The Election Commission of India has allocated time for the campaigning and publicity of political parties in Rajasthan for the upcoming elections. According to the State Election Department, the Congress has been allotted 189 minutes, with 37 times for 5 minutes each and once for 4 minutes of publicity can be broadcasted.
Similarly, the BJP has been given 187 minutes, with 37 times for 5 minutes each and once for 2 minutes of broadcast. The Aam Aadmi Party has been allocated 46 minutes, with 9 times for 5 minutes each and once for 1 minute of broadcast. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has been given 60 minutes, with 12 times for 5 minutes each of broadcast.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] has been allotted 49 minutes, with 9 times for 5 minutes each and once for 4 minutes of broadcast. The National Loktantrik Party (Rashtriya Loktantrik Party) [RLP] has been allocated 54 minutes, with 10 times for 5 minutes each and once for 4 minutes of election broadcast. In this way, a total of 630 minutes for election broadcasting on regional Doordarshan and All India Radio has been given to parties in the state.
